About Us...
Mr. Thomas, is in his 12th year as Hereford Middle School Library Media Specialist. Before moving into his current role, he taught Grade 8 science, middle school theatre, and high school Earth Science and Biology. This “Renaissance Man” became a LMS to not only to feed his love of learning, but to inspire students to find theirs. Thomas, loves collaborating with teachers to create meaningful lessons, working with students on a variety of topics and subjects, and getting everyone at Hereford Middle School excited about books and learning. Thomas’ favorite books include Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, Freaks Like Us by Susan Vaught, and Trash by Andy Mulligan.
Ms. Napp, is in her second year as assistant librarian at Hereford Middle School. Prior to joining the HMS team, Napp taught high school theatre for five years and is the co-owner of Charm City Players and program director for the iMAGiNATiON 101 Arts Education Program. In addition, to her duties as assistant librarian, she serves as the theatre director for HMS Theatrical Productions and Sparks Elementary. Some of Napp’s favorite reads include The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare, and Number the Stars by Lois Lowry.
